Review: We hired Foxx Industries to pour two concrete steps in our garage and epoxy the floor earlier this year. George poured the steps for us and we were satisfied with how those turned out. Unfortunately the epoxy project did not go well. After the first attempt, the finished floor felt crunchy underfoot and did not have the shiny look that is expected. There were spots where the topcoat was very thick, and spots where it was so thin that you could feel the flake with your fingers. We reached out to George and he told us that the guys had received a bad batch of product from their supplier. Since George was on vacation at the time, he sent his guys back out to grind it down and apply additional topcoats. This turned what we had expected to be a 2-3 day project into over a week project, during which time our belongings were out on our patio, exposed to the elements for much longer than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, it seemed that each time the guys were here working, some additional mess was made around our property - everything from flakes and some type of oily substance being spilled on our driveway, to a white substance getting splattered all over our house and back wall, to grass being killed from whatever they had set in our lawn. When George came to assess the finished floor after his vacation, he noticed that there were still a few high spots and offered to grind them down and topcoat again, but we declined. The floor is not perfect, but we did not feel like risking additional issues or mess on our property, and we needed to have our garage back for storage. George apologized for our trouble and gave us a break on final price. I hate to be the person that leaves a negative review, but we were just surprised at how things turned out, since all the reviews we had read were so positive. We unfortunately cannot recommend this company for epoxy services.
